Disability and Accessible Parking
Each of the above locations has designated accessible parking spaces. In addition, accessible parking for Arlington Original will be located in what is now the loading dock area with a new accessible entrance to the ground floor. Some of the parking meters that remain on Fairfax Drive closest to Arlington Original and Hazel Hall are also designated for disability access only. A state issued disability parking placard is required and you must pay the meter. These are owned and monitored by Arlington County. The fine for parking in a GMU parking space without a valid DMV issued disability placard or license plate is $250. The fine if you park illegally in an Arlington County disabled parking space is $500.
