Arlington Campus

Visitor Parking

Founders Hall Garage currently does not have visitor parking open. Once operational, visitor parking will be allowed only with advanced permission from Parking Services (Monday-Thursday). Limited public parking will be available Friday - Sunday.

Four metered spaces in the Truland surface lot are the only general use visitor parking.
Guest spaces have been added to the Truland lot, which require the advance permission of Parking Services.

Visitor parking is only allowed in the Foundation Building with advanced permission from Parking Services at all times. One may not park in the Mason leased spaces and pay the hourly rate. The hourly rate only applies to the retail business spaces such as for Quiznos.

Fairfax/Prince William permits are not valid at the Arlington campus.Departments from the Fairfax and Prince William campuses can request “Arlington Administrative” permits that will let them park in a few spaces in Truland. However, even with these permits, there will be no guarantee of an available space. To request an Arlington Administrative permit for your department, send your request to parking@gmu.edu.

Those with Administrative permits that are based at the Arlington campus should not park in the Administrative spaces in Truland except for limited durations-they are intended to be available for people with Administrative permits coming from Fairfax, Prince William, and elsewhere just like the Administrative spaces at Fairfax are intended for the use by those coming from other campuses.

Please contact Parking Services at parking@gmu.edu for information on requesting visitor parking.
