The Office of Events Management at the Arlington Campus works with clients to reserve appropriate meeting room, classroom, or auditorium space for such non-academic events as conferences, meetings, staff training, and luncheons. Clients include departments within the university as well as businesses and organizations from the larger Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Arlington Events Management also works with clients to coordinate Audio/Visual support and catering as needed.
Due to the sheer magnitude and complexity of the ARL II project, the university has made an institutional decision to de-emphasize events during construction. Many challenges will be present during the building period - making Arlington Campus a venue unfavorable for supporting events, conferences, and large-scale meetings. This university supported moratorium relating to events held at the Arlington campus will continue for the duration of ARL II construction.
