A George Mason University Campus
The George Mason University Arlington Campus is located in Arlington County, in what Arlingtonians call Virginia Square. This campus was created in 1979 when the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly authorized George Mason University to establish a law school. The following year the university established the graduate and continuing education programs and fine arts gallery at the Arlington Campus.
