Event facilities at the Arlington Campus are distinct from any other conference center you may consider. From onsite computer labs and classrooms to a gala evening for 500+ guests, Founders Hall and the Events Management team have the right mix of staff, equipment, space, and catering services to meet your event needs.
Founders Hall welcomes academic departments, government agencies, businesses, community, and non-profit organizations to host events at this spacious, modern facility. The facility includes:
- Over 100,000 square feet of available space
- 5,000 square-foot multipurpose room
- 300-seat auditorium
- Breakout rooms and classrooms for smaller groups
Rooms are equipped with the most up-to-date technologies necessary to successfully facilitate your event. Our continuous attention to detail and customer service will ensure your attendees enjoy high-quality service and accommodations.

General Information: All groups hosting an event in Founders Hall should refer to this page.
Mason Internal Space Request: Links to Mason’s 25Live portal. Mason users may request space, reference the event calendar, or find out if a space is available on a particular date. Please note that we require an org code and confirmation on whether you are partnering with an external organization before we will confirm your reservation. Due to the increased number of reservation requests that come in for major event space on the Arlington Campus, and subsequent cancellations, Arlington Events Management reserves the right to limit the number of reservation requests accommodated.
In order to gain access to 25Live, you must request a new user account and attend a training session:
- Faculty and Staff: Request a 25Live account by completing the 25Live New User Request Form.
- Students: If you have not taken the mandatory RSO training, email RSO@gmu.edu to sign up for the next available class. Note: You must be in a registered student organization to request a 25Live account. Contact Student Involvement for more information.
Space Request Form (non-Mason): Use this form if you are a non-Mason, external client and would like to reserve space on George Mason University’s Arlington Campus for an upcoming event. If your organization serves the Arlington community and you would like your event to be considered under the Arlington Affiliate User program*, please make a note of this under “Event Description” and submit your form.
*The Arlington Affiliate User program is offered through an agreement between Arlington County – administered by Arlington Economic Development (AED) – and George Mason University (Mason). To be considered for affiliate status for an event, not-for-profit, governmental, or other civic groups who serve the greater Arlington community must apply using the following form. You may not cancel an existing reservation and re-book under the Arlington Affiliate Program.

Sponsorship Request Form: Use this form if you are a Mason academic department working in partnership or sponsoring an external organization for an event. Note: This form must be submitted and approved before space will be confirmed for your event.
Police Request Form: Use this form if you are in need of Police presence at your event. Note: Events with alcohol are required to have police present.
